All things considered, I had a really fun weekend.

Friday (which I thought was Saturday, for some unknown reason) was the annual All-Campus picnic lunch on the green, which was awesome. The weather was fantastic, and it was great to have an excuse to just sit outside for an hour or so (none of the dining halls were serving lunch, so you had no choice but to get outside and eat, dammit.) Banannagoats and I saw [livejournal.com profile] krikkit911 off Friday night, to the great relief of everyone. I'm completely in awe that she managed to finish everything just two days after the show. Amazed. Amazing. Just a wee bit jealous that she gets to be done. :) After that, we finally finished My So-Called Life. Brian! Angela! Oh, the angst! It was fabulous.

Saturday (which, naturally, I thought was Friday for the first several hours) was also pleasant. The day was pretty much a waste, but I got to listen to Prairie Home Companion while I read my English--which I think is symptomatic of the usual end-of-semester homesickness. Two weeks. (Holy crap.) I can do two weeks. And probably two weeks after that, I'll be ready to leave again.

Saturday night, we had sushi. Again. I think Anna and I are officially addicted to sushi now. This is just a little scary, considering I'd barely go near the stuff as recently as last spring. I'll admit, I'm not a hardcore sushi fan--actual, "just a chunk of raw fish on some rice" sushi still freaks me out. I'm all about the rolls, and the vegetables (avocado and cucumber, mostly) that add flavor beyond just the fish. Also indicative of the addiction: the exposition of the evolution of said addiction, which is probably interesting only to me. And furthermore, I'm fully planning to go again next weekend.

24-hour library hours start this evening, and while I was there for several hours, I (obviously) cut out long before midnight. I plan to maximize my library time this week, before it gets too insane. I'm not ashamed to admit that I find the library straight up frightening this time of year, with the people who essentially move in. By the end of the week, the smell alone will be enough to keep me out. *shudders*

So, um...going out on a positive (if random) note: I have clean sheets. Yeah laundry!

*"All things" being the rather impressive amount of work that I intended to get to, but didn't.
