Hi! It's 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. I haven't been up this early on this day in years, for real...but today, I was awakened at 6:30 a.m. by a cat sticking his whiskers in my face. When I ignored him, and repeatedly threw him off the bed, he continued to jump back up and pat whatever part of my head he could reach.

For the next hour and a half.

Finally, at 8:30, one of the other cats came out and started rustling things around. So I gave in and fed Elliott, cat #1...and now there's just no going back to sleep. Guess I'll have to watch the parade instead.

PS. Dad has been converted to the cult of Macs. The logical thing for me to do this morning, after checking e-mail? Photobooth funtimes.
