Finally sent my study abroad application off to Bath today. (Only about 2 months later than intended. Whoops. :) ) My recommendations are both out (probably there already), the registrar has sent my transcript, and I'll know where I'm spending next fall by the time I get back from France.

Speaking of which, someone's having serious mommy-guilt over my not being back in Ohio for my birthday. She sent me a package with a birthday card in it, which I received yesterday. I understand how strange it must be, not being together for the first time in twenty years on that particular day, but she's a little too clingy about it. I had to convince her it would be alright if she waited until "Jacques Brel" opens to come out. I'll survive. I think she will, too.

ETA: There's a troop selling Girl Scout cookies in Blanchard! Am debating whether to blow the rest of my cash on Thin Mints and Samoas. Am thinking probably should--it's a good cause, after all. Yay Girl Scouts!

English paper, due next Thursday: 5-6 pages

Musical Film midterm, also due Thursday: 12-16 pages

Dante paper, due Wednesday: however many pages it takes to discuss each character listed on our syllabus from approximately 25 cantos.

Emily's brain, as of next Friday: a few pages short of a novel (if you know what I mean, and I think you do)

*cries*

This is karmic payback for last semester's paper-free finals week, isn't it?
