(keeping the energy up)
May. 13th, 2006 11:28 pmI am the goddamn QUEEN of The Blair Witch Project!
For those who might be a bit lost, this paper on The Blair Witch Project is for my Documentary Films class. (I can hear you all saying, "God, what a passe movie that is" -- don't deny it.) I get to write 8 to 10 pages about the mockumentary aspects of the film, and the ways that the marketing -- which neither confirmed nor denied its authenticity, if you look closely -- fed into the public's enchantment, and disenchantment, with the movie. It's actually a really cool topic...I just can't stay interested in it long enough to write about it.
Most seniors are in a similar place right now. One friend will be locking herself in the Stimson Room until Monday, because she has five classes to finish (they're all started, she says optimistically). Another has to deliver two 15-pagers and pack for a trip all by Monday morning...

krikkit911 just called and yelled at me for being in the library on a Saturday night: "Your thesis is done!" Thanks for the reminder, dear. You go have fun with that keg you're standing next to, and the boy who I can hear in the background. I'm going to write until they kick me out at 2 a.m. And then I'll call you, and we'll see how entertaining you are #$%(&*#$ theaterkidsandtheirgoodtimetheaterpartiesyarrr....
