Greetings from beautiful Oxford, where it's stopped raining for three hours in the past two days! The entire program packed up Friday morning, and moved to University College for the week. I'm living on the top floor of New Buildings (built in the 19th century--actually is comparatively new, at the oldest college in Oxford), in a corner room overlooking High Street on one side, and the dome over Percy Bysshe Shelley's memorial on the other. I'm in love with my room; if I could transfer to Oxford based on housing alone, I'd totally do it. (...but not really, banannagoats, don't worry! you won't lose another.)
The history here is ridiculous...and we still have just two computers available with internet access. AIEEEE! I feel that I'm going to have to spend a good deal of Monday (no classes) holed up in an internet cafe, catching up on my much-neglected friends list.
