apparently i can fall asleep sitting up, continue typing, and have it actually make some sense. (like, a comprehensible sentence in the middle of an unrelated paragraph.) must consider taking class notes on laptop from now on...could resolve many a legibility issue.

dorm coffee tastes like ass. i'm not generally one for sugar in my coffee, but in this case...i need more sugar. no, more than that. even the Buffy mug isn't helping. sigh.

anybody want to place bets on how many times i fall asleep in class today? *drinks more nasty coffee oy.*

the best part is that i get to do it all again tonight/tomorrow. minus the classes tomorrow -- i'm just camping out in the smith library, one last time. woooooooooo*thud*

poor emily. i think all coffee tastes kinda nasty. unless it tastes like coffee ice cream and then i have a sneaking suspicion that real coffee drinkers would tell me that coffee that sweet is not real.

how about 3 times per class? does that sound reasonable for sleepiness?

oh the joys of writing. i still have 3 more papers to write. by tomorrow! woot!

I feel your pain! I will be up until the wee, wee hours writing my Hitchcock paper (yay maura) tonight...I'm always concerned that I'll stay up so late writing a paper that I'll accidentally sleep past the deadline for handing it in.

I stopped drinking coffee at MHC because the dorm brew caused my taste buds great pain. We'll have to go out for the good stuff sometime.

We'll start an all-Female Fight Club once your classes are done. I haven't been sleeping, either.

i think sleeping at odd times is a college tradition, much like stealing lunch trays for sledding. here at training college we have no such thing as hard papers. i do my half assed grandview 1.5 gpa work, and i get honor roll. its not even half assed, its more like quarter assed. i got a b- on my hamlet paper where i said "batshit insane" three times and "putz" twice. yay training college.

Dude, can we go out sometime during Reunion? I'll be on campus an extra two weeks -- and my weeknight evenings are free.'Twould be a shame not to take advantage. E-mail me, and we'll work it out.

I told you your paper was insightful. You totally got the major themes and ideas of the scenes that you were supposed to -- you just phrased them in an unconventional way. :)

That almost happened to me last spring. I was up working wicked late, and finally went to bed at 6 or 7 -- "but only for an hour." At noon, I woke up. The paper was due at noon, or 1, or 3...I don't actually remember, but the moral is that I turned it in sometime around 5:45. And the prof was apparently none the wiser. *shrug*

Talk to [livejournal.com profile] sadai tonight. We're planning a serious "yay it's Tuesday and we're done (-ish)" unwinding session. (Read: mucho alcohol.)

And I do believe you called the sleep bet correctly, re: Stoppard. (All we did in history was fill out evaluations, so that wasn't really an issue.) Unfortunately, I think the professor noticed -- she rarely calls people out to read unless they volunteer, but today, she called on me. Hooray. :)
