The Magical Mystery Tour connection would actually explain a lot -- John's glasses were really bothering me, because I was all, "He never performed in glasses! They've mixed up their Beatles periods, dammit!" -- If George's tie is from MMT, or Yellow Submarine or similar, then the glasses are perfectly appropriate. *whew*

This is totally going on the mantle in the house next year. :)
