Hi! It's 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. I haven't been up this early on this day in years, for real...but today, I was awakened at 6:30 a.m. by a cat sticking his whiskers in my face. When I ignored him, and repeatedly threw him off the bed, he continued to jump back up and pat whatever part of my head he could reach.

For the next hour and a half.

Finally, at 8:30, one of the other cats came out and started rustling things around. So I gave in and fed Elliott, cat #1...and now there's just no going back to sleep. Guess I'll have to watch the parade instead.

PS. Dad has been converted to the cult of Macs. The logical thing for me to do this morning, after checking e-mail? Photobooth funtimes.

I don't know if you'll get this, but I found your name on the yuletide beta list for Ugly Betty. I have a small 2000 or so word fic that I would love to have beta'd, after I've tweaked it a bit more. Would you have time to do that? I know it's rather late in the day to be asking, but it would be great. If not, totally understand and will go elsewhere. :)
