best feeling in the world...

...turning in a paper a full 30 minutes before it's due. I know, I know. But speaking as someone who regularly dropped off noon-deadline papers at 11:55 last spring, and turned in my Dante final a full two hours late, I consider this a great accomplishment. Thank you, Professor Salter, for coming down with the flu. Glad you're better now, but the two-day extension was a beautiful thing.

Someday, I'll learn to really use my calendar effectively and maybe even plan ahead.

In other news, Maman's visit was very nice and relaxing. I feel good about balancing my mommy-time with my work time, and even managed to fit in dinner over Sex and the City Sunday evening. (Awwww...) It was a fun time. And Saturday night's sushi dinner? A-mazing. <3 House of Teriyaki.
