best feeling in the world...
Mar. 30th, 2005 03:35 pm...turning in a paper a full 30 minutes before it's due. I know, I know. But speaking as someone who regularly dropped off noon-deadline papers at 11:55 last spring, and turned in my Dante final a full two hours late, I consider this a great accomplishment. Thank you, Professor Salter, for coming down with the flu. Glad you're better now, but the two-day extension was a beautiful thing.
Of course, I still have yet to start on my film papers (due Friday by noon -- by e-mail). But that's what tonight and tomorrow night are for...tomorrow night, really, because tonight should probably be about my Folklore bibliography and research plan, due tomorrow afternoon.
Someday, I'll learn to really use my calendar effectively and maybe even plan ahead.
In other news, Maman's visit was very nice and relaxing. I feel good about balancing my mommy-time with my work time, and even managed to fit in dinner over Sex and the City Sunday evening. (Awwww...) It was a fun time. And Saturday night's sushi dinner? A-mazing. <3 House of Teriyaki.
