Saturday night is laundry night!
Apr. 16th, 2005 11:12 pmThis weekend is a total bust, academically; socially, I'd give it 50% (see subject).
I did get to see a lot of plays, which was fun. Arcadia at Smith was pretty good -- not fantastic, as there were some major problems, but good overall -- and it was great to finally see something in the Valley not at UMass. Incidentally, the UMass production of Angels in America: Part One? Not so good. Draggy pace, weak ensemble, bad crowd energy Thursday night...'tis a pity.

EDIT: *pokes LJ* Can anyone explain why the timestamp on my comments is approximately four hours ahead of "real time"? Now that I've noticed it, that's going to drive me insane.

Date: 2005-04-17 03:38 am (UTC)That was random, but...okay. :) It's true: all of the plays were potentially good, and were definitely interesting, if only for the ways they didn't work.
Prison of Women...yeah. That one was interesting too -- mostly because of the background knowledge I had going into it. As the monologues came up, I was like, "ohhhh...this is that one they've been talking about," so I already had the performers' opinions in mind.
