Can I just say how much I love My So-Called Life? Banannagoats and I watched two episodes tonight instead of doing homework, and it was wonderful: the zit and the substitute are two of my favorite episodes.
What's really interesting is the way my perceptions of the show have changed. I used to identify a lot more with Angela's point of view, for example; now, I can see more of her parents' side and (*gasp*) even frequently agree with them.
The Rickie-Brian Krakow friendship is one of my favorite character developments ever, and I can't wait for the ep with the World Happiness Dance. *big grin*
In other news, the whole April Fools thing has never really made sense to me. Lauren was going on and on about the awesome joke she played on the crew coach, Bridget was all excited about the (rather mean) joke she was going to play on her boyfriend's best friend, and I just don't get the appeal. Does anybody have an explanation?
