Giant tour group in the info commons...bemahone, I ♥ you, but I didn't really need to hear the entire roster of famous MHC alumnae. At the top of your voice. Again.


(It's a group of about 25 parents and prospies moving en masse through the library. We've reached that time of the year...and it'll be like this through the end of the month, i.e. my peak time in the library. A thesis-crazed senior could really scare some prospies...must look into this. mwahahaha!)

Ahh Bridget...quite possibly the loudest person I know!

The worst was passing out, face down, on one of the info-commons couches, only to wake up to a tour standing about 2 feet from my head. Sigh.

I've been there, my friend. Only I was passed out face up, on the couch in the "whisper area" by the newspapers in Williston. I woke up to the sounds of a tour group, who were definitely not whispering.

We're just helping to give the most realistic snapshot of MHC life possible, right?

everytime i see a tour group i have this irrational desire to run up behind and try to derail the whole train of conversation.

maybe it isn't irrational.

I think it's totally rational, mostly because Anna and I have an irrational desire to do something shocking every time we see a tour group, like jump on each other and start making out. In order to derail the conversation.

(For the record, this hasn't happened yet. But we do have several more weeks of high tour season.)

a tour group recently (as in like 3 days ago) saw me sweeping my very dirty floor in my pjs. that's as exciting as it got...i probably should have done something shocking but i was lazy...
