I am so over-invested in Project Runway. It's not even funny.

The best part is that I'll spend the hour immediately afterwards on the phone with my mommy.

♥!

Yay, Jeffrey! Stripes! Dresses! Leather pants! Also, cohesion in the collection is a good thing. I'm surprisingly happy for him -- I wouldn't have called it this way six weeks ago, but hey.

Dude, I know. I went back and forth about her -- really didn't like her at first, warmed up to her for the rest of the run -- but she was WAY out of line.

Which makes me sad, 'cause I'd totally wear her clothes. If I didn't have hips.

::obligatory dirty thought about emily and her bodacious curves::

mmmmm..

oh. sorry. uhh...

right!

yeah- laura was way out of line. i didnt really like her the entire time. she just seemed to make the same outfit over and over. i wasnt suprised she made a line of cocktail dresses... because thats all she wore. the one where kane got booted, the one with the black and white--- totally not a stretch for her. i was sort of rooting for vincent until he got booted (and came back and got booted again) because he was the grand poobah of the crazy parade. (that hat the first episode? wow!) i started liking jeffery when he and angela's mom got in a fight. (i HATE angela- more than wendy pepper from the first season) origianally i was like "whats up with that tattoo neck guy?" and then you gradtually hear his story and its sort of adorable. i like how all three of them, jeffery, his girlfriend, and their kid all have mohawks.

i also thought that jeffry's model was the best one there. that one episode where he sewed that two differnt colors of flannel together and made that loud yellow/orange dress (was that the one where they have to be haugte coture?) she totally won it for him. i think nina said that she seemed to like wearing it, and she totally looked happy.

actually, the models did play a bigger role this time around. laura's model gave her suggestions on how to make the outfits younger, and jeffery's was amazing.

all that said, uli had the best music

crap--- im gay, arent i?

'Fraid so. *points to curves comment* You're clearly compensating for something. :p

I totally heart Kane. His collection would have been the glitziest parts of the Grand Ole Opry and Las Vegas smushed together and sprinkled with sequins, and I would have loved every minute of it. Instead of being bored by it, as I was with Michael's.

Yes, Angela was obnoxious. Ohioans on reality shows always are (cf. that guy on The Real World 10: New York -- ok, his name was Mike and now he's a wrestler, why am I pretending I don't know?). However, Jeffrey made her mother cry and didn't apologize for it. And he spent most of the rest of the show being an arrogant jerk, too -- from the very beginning, he was ragging on people for the ways they used and abused the sewing machines.

All of that said, he gets points for having a cool model (she was pretty kick-ass, especially in the blue & yellow newspaper dress) and a mohawk'd family, and for obviously adoring his kid. Also for making really awesome clothes -- his purple faux-leather rockstar jacket? SO COOL.
